We love this hotel so much we’re visiting again! We originally booked a double - we loved the room and how spacious it was but did have an initial problem with the room door not closing/locking properly and bouncing open (an issue with the seal). We told reception whose suggestion was for us to call the concierge to our room to forcefully slam the door each time we wanted to leave. We let them know we weren’t comfortable with that solution and they upgraded us to a junior suite the following day. This room was so amazing we actually booked it for our return trip later in the year. The bed was fantastic, the shower was amazing, there was tonnes of closet space - truly a great room. All the staff were friendly and helpful and we loved the location - the hotel is opposite the anti-mafia building and there were always soldiers standing guard outside which made us feel super safe when coming back late at night! The location was great and only a short taxi trip from all the main sightseeing locations. It felt like a nice peaceful area without being too tucked away.
We had an excellent stay! We were there for two nights over the weekend in November. The street was quiet, with the only disturbance late Sunday morning being the church bells next door (which we didn't mind as we were already awake and preparing for our day). The room was spacious and comfortable with memory foam mattress topper.
I am also very thankful to the hotel staff for helping to set a reservation for a restaurant that only did bookings by phone, prior to our stay. Great service!
Great hotel, except we arrived at around 12am that night and the guy wouldn’t help us with our luggages and was grumpy. We booked for 3 nights originally but our flight got delayed by a day and he said we would still have to pay the full fee and because we booked through another site the hotel isn’t going to help.
The free continental breakfast was really tasty, chef there was friendly. Def recommend getting breakfast there.
The rooms are clean and spacious, though not exactly five-star in things like bed quality and furnishings.
Fantastic hotel. Very comfortable beds, Very good service. Staff is very helpful. A bit of walking required as it is not in not central to the city of Rome, but very manageable. Overall, its was a fantastic experience and would definitely stay again.
What a welcome! Just arrived and again, we are AMAZED! ....wonderful and clean room, perfect location, beautiful staff with a lovely smile and warm welcome. Thank you! Lucy&Ondra Cee
it was an excellent experience. The location of the hotel is truly unbeatable - situated in the heart of Rome, it provides easy access to all the major attractions and landmarks that the city has to offer.
In addition to the fantastic service, the hotel itself was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities to make my stay as comfortable as possible.
I would highly recommend the DOM Hotel Rome to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the city.
Wow! Amazing! This hotel is a 17th century palace. The rooms are so beautiful with so much personality. It is only I think 18 rooms so you have plenty of privacy. The staff is well mannered and helpful. I enjoyed my stay there. Not to mention that the rooms are king size bed and the bathrooms beautiful and spacious. I had a junior suite! Absolutely stunning. I didn’t want to leave the room. The hotel greeted us with exquisite champagne and a stunning room! I highly recommend! It’s very romantic and elegant! Also bf I forget the windows are completely sound proof. So you don’t hear any noise. AC available during spring time 😀
Room was gorgeous! Location for us was great. I LOVED the old romantic feel of this hotel. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is the restaurant. Rooftop is beautiful but the “restaurant” is literally a “kitchen” with a grill and a microwave (I’m not kidding) behind the bar. The chef did the best the could given… but food was not not great to say the least. SO if you stay here just avoid the food situation
